A fire recently broke out in a Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat Express which was headed to Hazrat Nizamuddin in Delhi from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. There were around 20 to 22 passengers on board at the time the fire happened. Luckily though, no injuries or casualties happened and the crisis was averted without much damage caused. The authorities took immediate action before things went too far. Here are all the details regarding this incident shocking incident.

This particular incident could have gone worse but authorities to action at the right time and prevented things from escalating. A Vande Bharat express train which was headed to Hazrat Nizamuddin in Delhi from Rani Kamalapati in Bhopal recently caught fire.

According to an article recently published by the Hindustan Times, at around 6:45 AM some staff members detected fire in the battery box of coach number C-12. They immediately alerted the authorities. The train halted at the Kurwai Kethora railway station in Madhya Pradesh.

Here, the fire was extinguished. Fortunately, the train was only carrying about 20 to 22 passengers and none of them were hurt or injured in the incident. The fire brigade was called and they reached the platform just in time. According to the article, the fire was extinguished by 7:58 AM.

Train Dispatched After Full Examination

After the fire was quickly extinguished by the authorities, a thorough and comprehensive check was run on the train to ensure that no such incident would happen on the journey further. Upon the completion of the inspection, the train went ahead with its journey.

Around 10:05 AM, the Vande Bharat train left for its destination. A video of this incident has gone viral on social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram. In the video, officials can be seen attempting to douse the fire. It doesn’t seem like there is any information available as to why and how the fire started, though.
