Birla Family Visits Goa To Inaugurate New Birla Mandir; Shares Pictures On Twitter

The Birla family is renowned throughout the country for many years. The business empire create many years ago still stands tall. And so do the many temples they have created throughout the country. They recently built another temple in Goa and the whole family was present for the inauguration. Vedanta Birla, son of Yashovardhan Birla, took to his Twitter account and shared some photographs of the family, as well as of the new Birla Mandir. The influential Birla family is seen dressed in ethnic wear.

Birla Family Visits Goa To Inaugurate New Birla Mandir

Kumar Mangalam Birla of the Birla family was also spotted in the photograph posted by the young businessman. The photos were accompanied by a caption which stated that all the branches of the Birla family flew to Goa in order to inaugurate the new Birla Mandir.

The new Birla Mandir has been opened inside the Birla Institute of Technology and Science or the BITS Pilani. This makes it the latest of one of the more than 30 Birla Mandirs scattered throughout the country.

According to an Economic Times report, this particular also witnessed the appearance of Avanti Birla, who is the mother of Vedant Birla, the daughter of Chandra Kant Birla and the cousin of Kumar Mangalam Birla.

About The Newly Built Temple

Last week, the Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant, also took to the micro-blogging website and shared a picture of the newly built temple. In the tweet, he expressed his gratitude toward the Birla family for building the temple. The temple is dedicated to the deities Radha and Krishna.

It is hoped that the new temple will boost tourism in the state of Goa and will go on to be one of the most prominent tourist attractions in the state. Other Birla Mandirs, too, have been prominent tourist attractions and draw a huge number of visitors each year. This temple, too, is hoped to do the same.
