Bollywood Movies That Made Us Pack Our Bags To Travel

1. Tamasha

After watching Ranbir and Deepika’s Tamasha in Corsica, we couldn’t help but browse for the air tickets online. Imitiaz Ali chose an island hidden between the borders of France and Italy. This film gave motivation to many to travel to a pastel coloured city and probably find a holiday partner, there ;)

2. Highway

India has never looked this good! No wonder, Alia Bhatt didn’t mind being kidnapped as she travels through the unexplored roads of Sangla Valley in Himachal Pradesh with a goon. Ladakh is covered extensively but the Aru Valley and Chandanwari near Pahalgam were a delight to see. We say, the northern part of India is prettier than Switzerland.

We are obsessed with cruises! And now, imagine being with your family & friends on a cruise as you sail across Turkey, Spain and Tunisia! Who wouldn’t love that? The film Dil Dhadakne Do got our hearts pacing with beautiful locales and shots. It also made us realise that we need to go on a holiday not just with the partner but the family.

4. Queen

Woman Solo Travel is so in! And Kangana Ranaut going for a honeymoon alone made it even better. It inspired many of us to travel solo and more so to places like Paris and Amsterdam. Travelling alone with broken heart but she could discover her own identity.

Watching a flick that involves trekking with friends is sure to make many of us feel nostalgic of our college days. This film made us relive the good ol’ days and also gave us travel goals. Shot in Gulmarg which was shown to be Manali in the film, followed by Ranbir’s travel escapades all around the world. And how can we forget the royal wedding at Oberoi Udailvillas! All those places are on our travel bucket list.

6. Piku

The sweet and tangy bonding between father and daughter took our hearts away. Second was the road trip that they took from Delhi to Kolkata with the owner of the taxi company. Though there was no love struck between Deepika and Irfaan but, the ‘nok-jhok’ with Amitabh on the way made the journey a fun ride!
