Indian street food has fans from all across the world. And when it comes to Mumbai’s favourite Vada Pav, well it has been named as one of the best burgers in the world by Michelin star chefs. So it isn’t a surprise that British High Commissioner Alex Ellis fell in love with vada pav during his trip to Mumbai to meet delegates. Well, here’s what happened.

Alex Ellis Enjoys Delicious Indian Food

British High Commissioner Alex Ellis shared a snap of his Mumbai trip on Twitter. In the photo, the delegate can be seen standing outside the Gateway of India with a vada pav in his hand. During his time in India, Ellis has been busy trying out delicious Indian food and flavours from across the nation. Earlier, he feasted on Masala Dosa during his trip to Bangalore. Ellis captioned the picture, that there’s always ample time to gorge on Vada Pav in Mumbai.

Twitter Users Give Indian Food Suggestions

The mouthwatering snack of Vada Pav with the flavoursome deep-fried vada, tucked in the soft pav, slathered with spicy chutney, is a dish that’s simply out of this world. Witnessing his deep love and admiration for Indian food, Twitter users bombarded him with food recommendations. One netizen suggested he try out Puran Poli during his stay in Maharashtra and another messaged him to try Misal Pav in Pune. Some people on the microblogging site also told him that the ‘terrace of Taj hotel’ was not the right place to have good vada pav. And he should instead have it in Dadar.
