British High Commissioner Enjoys Dosas In Bangalore With Comedian Shraddha & Internet Says ‘Aiyyo!’

The minute you set foot in Bangalore, what’s the first thing you’d do? Have masala dosa and filter coffee, right? Well, this is exactly what British High Commissioner to India, Alex Ellis did when he arrived in Bangalore. The British High Commissioner enjoyed a crispy golden dosa with sambhar and chutney at Bangalore’s iconic Airlines Hotel with none other than the ace comedian and influencer, Shraddha.

British High Commissioner to India Relishes Dosas At Airlines Hotel With Aiyyo Shraddha

British High Commissioner to India, Alex Ellis took to Twitter to share a picture of a delicious plate of dosa served with small bowls of sambhar and chutney. In his short caption, he mentioned that he is back in Bangalore. When Netizens enquired what dosa he ate and what was the glass of pale liquid in the picture, he mentioned he enjoyed masala dosa and cumin water.

An Instagram on the @ukhmtreasury and @jeremyhuntmp handles reveal that the British High Commissioner dined with Bangalore’s beloved RJ, comedian and influencer Aiyyo Shraddha. The pictures show the two of them having a leisurely breakfast at the open-air Airlines Hotel in Bangalore. Seated comfortably on plastic chairs, enjoying the pleasant sunny, Bangalore weather they gorged on dosas and sipped filter coffee while engaging in conversations.

Shraddha also commented below the post thanking the Chancellor. She also cheekily promised him that she’d try mashed potatoes and peas with equal enthusiasm as he relished the masala dose. Now, that’s a fit promise! Well, the Internet had a field day watching the two giants relish the iconic dosa at the heritage dosa eatery in Bangalore.

Alex Ellis’s tweet itself garnered over 29.3K views and 773 likes. Many social media users welcomed him back to India and were happy that the ate dosas with his hands, ditching cutlery of any kind. One person even commented that Ellis challenged well-established western dining etiquette norms like a boss. Other Bangaloreans recommended he also visit Vidhyarthi Bhavan and MTR.
