A Bus Fell Into A Deep Gorge In The Burhanpur District

It was about 5:30 AM on Saturday when the scary incident occurred in the Karoli Ghat mountain pass section. The accident spot is reported to be in the Burhanpur district in Madhya Pradesh, according to a report by Deccan Herald. In the early hours of April 27, this life-threatening bus accident happened when the vehicle slid into a gorge as deep as 50 feet.
Devendra Patidar, the Burhanpur Superintendent of Police, shared some necessary information about the bus accident. According to the report, he mentioned that the bus was on its way to Akola. It was travelling from Indore. The journey had to be paused as there was a problem with the battery. To solve this issue, the staff travelling in the vehicle parked it beside the road.
Before working on the problem, people there kept a few big-sized stones under the bus wheels. Sadly, the stones were clearly of no use. In some way or another, the stones may have shifted a bit and could not stop the bus from moving. Soon, the vehicle slid into the deep gorge leading to the miserable situation in the early morning.

How Many People Faced Injuries?

Devendra Patidar further added how at least 10 to 12 people suffered from injuries after the accident in the Karoli Ghat mountain pass section. Though they were hurt, no one faced any major cuts or severe injuries following the vehicle falling into the gorge. They were quickly taken to a nearby local hospital for treatment. The good news is that all of them have no reason to worry as they are safe.
