According to a report by the Times Of India, the prices are likely to increase for more than 75 dishes sold here.

Street vendors are witnessing this hike after a long period of 5 years and the increase can range from somewhere between 20% to 100%. That’s a steep hike, right? The meeting for this change in Chandigarh street food prices is all set to take place on 6 March.

A committee was formed to decide on the hike in the prices. Some municipal councilors and municipal officers came together to form the group. The General House of the MC has also approved the formation of this committee. Also, there have been some new rules and terms made in case someone overcharges the customers after the revised rates come into action.
