The time of the year has come when devotees can finally go on the Char Dham Yatra 2023. The online registration process has already started and pilgrims are completing these steps so that they visit the holy temples once the gates open in the month of April. According to a report by Uttarakhand News Network, over six and a half lakh devotees have already completed their online bookings for the Yatra till 26 March 2023. The Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board has shared the number of registrations recently.
Uttarakhand Tourism Began Online Registrations About A Month Ago

The Uttarakhand Tourism Department began the process of online bookings on 21 February 2023. And the numbers exceeded 6.5 lakh pilgrims in only a month and a few days. As of now, the registration process for helicopters has not begun yet. There is a high probability that the numbers will see a spike once the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority begins the registration of helicopter facilities in April. Also, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has begun testing its website to complete the registration.
Number Of Devotees Going For The Char Dham Yatra!
The Uttarakhand News Network has shared the number of pilgrims who completed their registrations till 26 march 2023. Here are all the details about it.
- The process of online registrations began with Kedarnath and Badrinath in the month of February.
- The booking procedure for Gangotri Dham and Yamunotri Dham began on 15 March.
- Till 26 March, more than 2.4 lakh devotees have completed their registration process for Kedarnath Dham.
- For Badrinath Dham, the number is more than 20 thousand.
- The number is a bit more than 1 lakh pilgrims for Gangotri Dham.
- And for Yamunotri Dham, the number of registrations exceeded 98 thousand.
