Check Out Artists Line Up For Magnetic Fields 2023, Rajasthan’s Globally Recognised Festival

For its ninth edition, a well-known Indian festival draws a slew of international rising artists as well as a number of festival-only performances to take place from December 15–17. With a focus on both producing fascinating music and connecting guests to novel ideas and experiences, Magnetic Fields offers an engaging view of contemporary India.

Multidisciplinary DJ and producer Hudson Mohawke from Scotland Afrobeat icon Mella Dee, Irish selector and seasoned party organizer Dele Sosimi, Or:la, Canadian DJ Yu Su of Chinese descent, a group of young DJs and producers from the UK like I.Jordan, DJ ADHD, Jennifer Loveless, and Otik, and multi-instrumentalist Jitwam of Indian descent from Brooklyn are all planning to visit Alsisar

Highlights of the festival include a performance of Sandunes’ new album, “Ground Beneath Her Feet,” as well as the first audio-visual sets of Dualist Inquiry and Dolorblind.

Jameson Connects South Stage

The Jameson Connects South Stage in the palace lawns will host modern electronica acts from India and around the world. The festival will feature performances by experimental music producer Goya, Afrobeat legend Dele Sosimi, Nepalese rock band Gauley Bhai, Patna-based producer Dolorblind, and Goa-based electronica producer Dualist Inquiry. Sandunes will premiere her upcoming transcendental LP, while other live sets include Brooklyn-based Jitwam, violinist Elle Shimada, Kareem Ali, Raj, Meba Ofilia, and Many Roots Ensemble.

BUDx North Stage

The BUDx North Stage hosts a diverse range of DJs and producers, introducing Indian audiences to new and exciting sounds. This year’s lineup includes I.Jordan, Paula Tape, Bake, Yu Su, Dar Disku, Rishi Sippy, Mella Dee, and ADHD. The night stage also features emerging talents like Yu Su, Dar Disku, and Rishi Sippy.

Ray-Ban Desert Oasis

The festival will feature diverse performances by Warehouse Mix, Dar Disku, and Jennifer Loveless. On Friday, No Mo Soul and Tartaruga will open, followed by Dar Disku and Loveless. On Saturday, AAGUU Presents: Solar Spirit Feat. will showcase electronic music styles from chill-wave to progressive house and techno.

BUDxYARD

A garden-like nightlife, features late-night beatmakers like Belgian DJ Nosedrip, Bristol-based producer Otik, Amsterdam-based selector Orpheu The Wizard, Beijing-born sound wizard Moopie, Melbourne-based sound wizard Jennifer Loveless, and up-and-coming DJs like Girls Night Out and Kandy Kuri.

Glasgow-based record label Numbers celebrates its 20th anniversary with international events, including a showcase at Magnetic Fields featuring Hudson Mohawke and Spencer, marking the label’s 20th anniversary of its club nights and parties.

Resident Advisor party on Saturday night

The Resident Advisor Saturday night throwdown in 2023 will feature UK dance music scene stars Amaliah and Danielle, with Indian techno DJ dotdat kickstarting the night.

Jameson Connects Underground

Palace dungeons transform into dance dens for festival weekend, featuring Mixtress, OX7GEN, RaSa, Marbman, Sentient, Antariksh Daddy, and Zequenx.

Peacock Club

The Peacock Club will host the Midnight Dub Club, a midnight BFR Soundsystem session featuring Delhi Sultanate and guests, with Irish party starter Or:la taking over for the Sunday night finale.

The Sundowner

The Sundowner returns with new live shows ‘Etymon’ by Vridian, Alboe, Unnayanaa’s ‘Osmosis’, debut sets by Sanoli Chowdhury and Angus 12, and American trumpet player Kareem Ali.

DDC x Pursue Cosmic Disco Bar

The Disco Bar at the festival will be hosted by Dynamite Disco Collective, featuring performances by DDC founder Stalvart John, Sindhi Curry, Farhan Rehman, and Carissa.
