Food reel creator CookSux sparked an online debate after praising the Indian spaghetti sauce he enjoyed at a lounge at Chennai Airport. In the video, he shared glimpses of his plate and praised the pasta. In the caption, he added, “Sorry Italians, but this Indian airport spaghetti is fire!”

“This is going to sound controversial, but I’m at an airport lounge in Chennai, waiting for my flight to Hyderabad, and I have a feeling that the Indians know how to do spaghetti sauce better than the Italians! This sauce is fire! This airport lounge food is great, and the pasta is fire, better than the Italian, maybe, I think so,” he says while sharing the video of the lounge and his meal.

Desi netizens loved how CookSux embraced the Indian take on Italian food. Hundreds of users commented on the post, with many saying that after eating Indian-style Italian food, authentic pasta just doesn’t hit the same.

Praised Indian KitKat Too!

CookSux, aka Andy, is currently visiting India and has been trying a variety of local street food like pani puri and ginger tea, and even made a pitstop at McDonald’s to try the burger chain’s Indian flavours. However, what truly surprised many was his love for the Indian KitKat, which he said was even better than the ones he’d tried in Vietnam, previously his favourite in the world.

“Guys… Indian KitKats are THE BEST in the world! Also, Japanese KitKats are overrated! They have a lot of flavours, but Vietnam is the best for the original…well, India now,” he said in the post’s caption.
