According to an article which was recently published by News18, this is the largest tourist vessel in Kerala and can accommodate as many as 150 passengers at a time. It stretches across 50 metres lengthwise and is 11 metres wide. The Classic Imperial vessel also holds a safety certification from the India Registrar of Shipping or IRS.

Nishyjith K John, who is the managing director of Neo Classic Cruise and Tours Pvt. Ltd., started the construction journey of this cruiser. In March 2020, which was when the nightmare of the pandemic was at its pinnacle, the construction of the ship began. Naturally, the pandemic affected the boat’s construction as well and it was a bit delayed.

As per the News18 article, the MD set up the construction centre on Cochin Port land the rent of which was a whopping ₹1.20 lakh. Despite the hardships, the ship now stands as a beacon of perseverance, hard work and entrepreneurial spirit. The tour company also has a number of other cruisers which you can book.
