Want to party all night in an upscale pub? Your wishes might come true in Gurgaon. According to the Haryana government’s new excise policy, bars and pubs in Gurgaon can now remain open till 8 AM. These restaurants will be allowed to operate till 8 AM by paying an extra annual fee of ₹20,000 lakhs to the excise department. At present, bars in Gurgaon are allowed to operate till 3 AM. The new policy will be in effect from June 12, 2022.

Liquor Vendors To Operate 24*7 In Gurgaon
Not only have pubs been allowed to remain open for longer hours, but the excise department has also decided to allow liquor vendors to operate four hours longer than the usual time by paying 25% of their annual license fee. They can operate 24*7 if they pay 50% of their annual fee.

Cafes Allowed To Serve Beer And Wine
Apart from pubs and bars, the Haryana government is allowing cafes in Gurgaon to serve beer and wine too. They will have to pay an annual licence fee of ₹5 lakhs to be eligible to serve beer and wine.

Also, as per a recent announcement, bars in Delhi too might start operating till 3 AM soon.
