Delhi is known for its extreme cold conditions. Delhiites, get ready to witness the coldest days as the city is likely to experience 3°C very soon. The India Meteorological Department’s weather predictions stated that the national capital is expected to see a noticeable dip in mercury from December 10.

North India is bracing for cold wave conditions in the next couple of days. According to forecasts, the effects will bring down the temperature significantly. Cold wave conditions are expected to sweep Delhi, Punjab, and western Uttar Pradesh till December 14.

While residents of Kolkata and nearby places were complaining about not experiencing chilly weather, even in December, Sunday completely surprised everyone with a sudden dip in temperature. The weather updates of Monday imply a much colder day in comparison to the past few days.

West Bengal’s districts such as Darjeeling and Purulia have been recording single-digit temperatures for the past few days. Bengalis’ favourite hill station, Darjeeling, reported a temperature of 5.6°C today.
