Food blogger, India Food Hustle, posted a video about a streetside vendor who is seen making ‘Cooker Wali Coffee.’ Showing yet another example of how much Indians love jugaad, this vendor has turned a pressure cooker into a coffee machine. The vendor has added an apparatus similar to a coffee machine at the whistle nozzle of the pressure cooker. With this, he can use the pressure from the cooker to bring together the coffee in the same fashion as a regular coffee machine! Now, isn’t that innovative?
To make the coffee, the vendor takes all his ingredients – coffee, sugar, and milk in a vessel. He then puts it under the steel pipe of the valve coming out of the pressure cooker. The mechanism helps bring together the coffee and it is quite frothy. A cup of this coffee costs just ₹20. Unfortunately, the blogger hasn’t revealed where one can enjoy this ‘Cooker Wali Coffee.’
