It’s no secret that summers in the UAE are quite harsh. And it seems that the residents here are truly facing a difficult time as the humidity is quite high. In fact, people are having to replace their electrical appliances because they’re getting damaged due to the increasing humidity and some have even reported cracked walls. Extreme Humidity In UAE

According to a report by Khaleej Times, it was revealed that several UAE residents are complaining about damaged goods in their houses. A major reason for this has been attributed to the rising humidity. Some have also complained about damaged refrigerators, while others are seeing that their air-conditioners are also getting ruined because of the weather conditions. The extremely high humidity in the last couple of days, which has hit more than 80% in several parts of the country, is certainly making life difficult for people. While the temperature has been recorded at an average of 40° mark, the humidity levels are anywhere between 70% to 95% according to the National Centre of Meteorology.

UAE Residents Reel Under Extreme Conditions

In fact, some people have also reported cracks on their walls. In fact, due to the high humidity, some residents have also complained about water dripping from the ceiling throughout the day. All others are complaining about jammed doors in the houses ever since this summer began. Due to the high humidity, experts have warned residents to regularly maintain their air-conditioning units. A good way to spot if there’s something wrong with the conditioning unit is the fact that you may receive an electricity bill that’s unusually high or the air conditioner cooling might be low even though it’s humid.
