1. Abu Dhabi Mobility Announces Reduction In Speed Limit On Key Road

Recently, Abu Dhabi Mobility released a notification letting people know that there is a temporary reduction in the speed limit on Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Road. This is for the main work in stage three. The reduction of speed is on the road towards Abu Dhabi from Al Baha Bridge until the work zone ends.

2. Work Accelerator Plan Announced In Abu Dhabi

Recently, the traffic safety technical committee launched a Work Accelerator Plan in Abu Dhabi. This is for enhancing safety and is with the Abu Dhabi Mobility, Department of Health Abu Dhabi, and Abu Dhabi Police. The plan is to analyse traffic accidents and then extract lessons learnt, improve freight transport safety, review the road speed limits, enhance pedestrian micro-mobility safety, address the driver’s behaviour, and finally ensure the delivery driver’s safety.

3. Amala Hospital Receives Design Approval

The Red Sea Global recently announced that plans for Amala Hospital have received design approval. This approval has been given by the Saudi Ministry of Health and is scheduled to open next year. The state-of-the-art facility will feature 44 beds annually of primary and secondary care for visitors, staff, and partners. It will obviously be serving the local community.

4. Bahrain And Kuwait Sign A Tourism Cooperation Agreement

Bahrain and Kuwait have signed a tourism cooperation agreement that highlights the strong bonds between the two nations. Founded on the history of brotherhood and guided by the vision, this cooperation agreement is from 2024 to 26 and aims to enhance collaboration tourism promotion, marketing, and even activation. As it happens, it also seeks to establish joint tourism projects between the two countries by focusing on tourism-ready investment opportunities.

5. Madina Book Fair 2024 Concludes With

Recently, the Madina Book Fair 2024 concluded. It was attended by 1,70,000 visitors from not just Madina, but outside the region as well. This is big as it’s a 22% rise in figures as compared to the previous edition. For this year, the fair also coincided with summer school vacation, which resulted in a large turnout of attendees. This event was attended by students, families, and even book enthusiasts.

6. International Falcon Breeders Auction 2024 Happening Till August 24

An action of Falcon organised by the Saudi Falcon Club was held at the headquarters of Malham, the North of Riyadh. This International Falcon Breeders Auction 2024 is happening till August 24 and the English Farm, Falcon Mews LTD got the tension of the visitors. For those who weren’t aware, this action has become a reliable international platform for falconers and falcon breeders to meet annually.

7. Qatar Princess Squashes Robbery Rumour

Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani the princess of Qatar recently took to her social media account to let everyone know that the news of her falling victim to theft that’s been circulating on the internet is false. This response was to a viral social media account that named her as a victim of a robbery that saw the disappearance of 11 Hermes bags.

8. Kuwait Holds First Cultural National Challenge Programme

Kuwait has begun the First Cultural National Challenge Programme for e-games. This challenge programme began on Wednesday, August 7 and 70 male and female youth participated in the event. The move enables the participants to share their expertise and knowledge while also offering a chance for the authority to learn about the skills and energy of the youth.

9. Dubai RTA Informs Of Key Delay On Dubai Road

There will be a delay on Dubai-Al Ain Road under the fifth intersection with Jebel Ali-Lehbab Road in both directions. This will be daily on weekdays from 10 PM to 6 AM from today onwards till September 9. This is due to the bridge maintenance work, which is being undertaken by the Dubai RTA for further enhancement of the Dubai infrastructure.

10. Saudia Serves Coffe In Region-Inspire Cup
