Another day, another CT review! This time, I stepped into FES! And no, I am not talking about their old outlets, but India’s first Cookie Culture flagship in Delhi’s Lodhi Art District, which the brand has now opened. The place, or you can say the world of Cookie Dealer, is built around cookies, warmth, coffee, and so much more! Here’s how my experience was.
I Stepped Into Cookie Dealer’s Home At FES In Delhi
Delhi is home to countless cafes, but stepping into the newly opened outlet of FES felt like stepping into another world. The place is not designed like how you would imagine other cafes to be. Instead, it feels as if you have just stepped into a cosy apartment. FES has three floors and is inspired by downtown New York loft culture.
The cafe has so many details that you will want to click countless pictures for your feed, trust me! I could not keep my eyes off the details. The ground floor is THE SHOP, where you can order cookies, savouries and coffees, or even buy cute cookie boxes to take home.
The first floor is THE LOFT, which is apparently Cookie Dealer’s living room. This space is built for lazy afternoons and long conversations over coffee. The second floor is THE LAB, which is Cookie Dealer’s inner world. The place is so mysterious that you will have to focus on every little detail to catch the smallest hint of Cookie Dealer living there. There is also a window that says, ‘Don’t look inside,’ but I suggest you do look inside to get a sneak peek of what Cookie Dealer and his pet, Fudge, are up to.
Oh, did I tell you the place is pet-friendly? That is another thing I really liked about FES in Delhi’s Lodhi Art District.
The Cookies Are The Real Stars At The Cafe
Now, let’s come to the main part: cookies! There are many cafes in Delhi dedicated to food, coffee and more, but FES is actually trying to put the focus on cookies. And honestly, they are doing a fab job at it. I ordered their two best-selling cookies: Dirty Tiramisu and Dark Chocolate Monster.
Honestly, both these cookies were not just delicious but had the perfect melt-in-the-mouth consistency. The Dark Chocolate Monster Cookie was gooey, decadent and fudgy. Honestly, it pairs really well with a hot latte or even a cappuccino, if cookies and coffee are your thing.
The Dirty Tiramisu is not your regular cookie. It is, in fact, a cookie sandwich that is chewy and offers a satisfying bite. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, this cookie can easily become your next guilty pleasure. The rich chocolate cookie loaded with creamy mascarpone is something no one can say no to, right?
Though I ordered just these two cookies, you can also pair them with ice cream and toppings to make your dream combination. I think this is such a cool concept for people with a sweet tooth. Interestingly, all of their cookies go through several rounds of trials and testing before finally making it to the menu. I also ordered the Herbed Cream Cheese Bagel from their savoury selection. The bagel had a refreshing flavour profile and worked well as a filling afternoon snack.
Their Menu Offers A Chocolate Cold Foam Americano!
Now, let’s talk about the beverages. Instead of ordering a cappuccino like I usually do, I went for their Chocolate Cold Foam Americano. Honestly speaking, I have not seen this beverage being offered anywhere else in Delhi. Trying an iced Americano with a chocolatey twist was definitely not on my bingo card.
The coffee was bold and strong, yet perfectly balanced by a silky, velvety chocolate finish. Founder and CEO of FES Cafe, Vidur Mayor, shared that the beverage was made for people who love iced Americanos but want just a little sweetness too. And honestly, it is perfect. For someone like me, who does not like overly sweet coffee, this was a 10/10. Apart from this, I also tried their seasonal Mango Matcha, which was earthy and fruity.
In between conversations, Vidur Mayor revealed that FES is not trying to follow trends. Instead, they are trying to build a space around what people genuinely like and love to eat. The team works day and night on recipes they believe people will enjoy, and honestly, their magic is working. When asked about his favourites from the menu, he picked the Dark Chocolate Monster Cookie, the Pista-Shew Cookie and the Chocolate Cold Foam Americano.

So, if you are in Delhi’s Lodhi Art District, I would definitely suggest visiting FES for its New York-style cookies, coffee, and, of course, the vibe!
