A couple content creators, Pratik and Harshada (@the_balanced_ph) shared a video in which the Indian woman can be seen carefully checking the ingredients in her dish while dinig at Hanoi Train Street. As a vegetarian, Harshada repeatedly asks whether the meal contains any meat, fish, or eggs. The video was posted with the caption, “POV: When she wasn’t ready to trust the waiter, he had to unlock a new level of convincing.”
Not once or twice, the Indian woman keeps asking, “Only vegetables? No meat, no fish, no egg?” The Vietnamese waiter patiently answers all her questions and reassures her that the meal contains only vegetables. He even says, “I know you are nervous, but I swear it is only vegetables.” His patience and understanding are what truly won hearts online.
