David Beckham, legendary Manchester United player and former England football captain, is in India for three days as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador. He was present to witness the India vs. New Zealand semi-final match at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. On November 15, actress Sonam Kapoor and her husband, Anand Ahuja, hosted a welcome party for the football icon in Mumbai. It was a glitzy affair and we were highly intrigued by what was served at the grand party. So, we did a little digging and found out what was served at this dinner party.
The Kapoors Hosted Dinner Party For David Beckham With A Specially Curated Menu From Indian Accent Mumbai
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja served David Beckham (and the whole Tinseltown) a plethora of dishes from Indian cuisine to give him a taste of Indian food. This delicious menu was curated exclusively by the Indian Accent Mumbai and had all the crowd faves. Right from canapes to Street food faves to cold buffets and signature dishes, the specially curated menu for the welcome party looks exciting. It is no surprise the Kapoors and Ahujas picked them. Moreover, ever since its Mumbai debut, Indian Accent Mumbai (inside NMAAC) has become the talk of the town. Many celebrities are seen dining there and praising its food. So, it seems but of course a natural choice to introduce David and his entourage to Indian food.

Additionally, he was also present in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday for the World Cup cricket semi-final between India and New Zealand.

Prior to kickoff, the former Real Madrid player engaged with Virat Kohli and was spotted with cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. The ICC Cricket World Cup posted a few images of Beckham on X(formerly Twitter). The 48-year-old is seen conversing with Kohli in one picture, and in another, he is walking on the ground with Tendulkar while a football is at his feet.
