They’re back and this time, they’ve come for Mumbai’s most beloved snack! The culinary criminals are back at it again with their food-related crimes. And their victims this time? Mumbai’s favourite snack item, Vada Pav! An eatery in Mira Road is selling vada pav pizza and we wish that people would, for once, stop bastardising good food in the name of fusion or innovation. This unholy union of the two dishes is just too much!
Vada Pav Pizza, Anyone?
A reel shared on the popular social media networking platform Instagram showcased the culinary atrocity in the making. A man in blue-tinted shades is seen in the video making what is called ‘Baahubali Vada Pav Pizza.’
The man first drizzles some red sauce which is then followed by a white sauce, presumably mayonnaise. He then proceeds to slice a vada in half and place it on the bed of sauce and pav. He then adds cheese, capsicum, and corn on top of the dish.
Finally, he drizzled an orange sauce on top and then bakes the dish in the oven. After the steaming pile of what can only be technically called food comes out of the oven, he grates a whole lot of cheese on top of it and cuts it into pieces to serve.

Not Pizza, Not Vada Pav, But Another Third Secret Thing

This atrocity which has been dubbed Vada Pav pizza is being served at an eatery in Mira Road. Despite the attempt to make the dish palatable, netizens have been averse to trying this. It seems that the overcompensation by adding a huge amount of cheese to mask the atrocity is not working.
Lately, it seems that bizarre food combinations are on the rise. A few days ago someone made a chocolate omelette. If that isn’t disgusting enough for you, there was also a viral video on the internet making Oreo fried rice. We just want people to respect food and stop with these insane food combinations.
