Deepika Padukone is the new mama-to-be in town, and she and her husband, Ranveer Singh, took to Instagram to announce their first pregnancy. On this lovely episode of Sunday Brunch, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, was joined by Deepika Padukone for a cute staycation in Mumbai. We discussed her choice of staycations, hotel rooms, recent trips, and more at length. We learned that she completely changes the feng shui of every hotel room she checks into and absolutely loves the quietness there.
Deepika Padukone Doesn’t Really Mind The Quietness Of A Hotel Room
We learned that Deepika Padukone enjoys staycations as much as she enjoys any vacation. This is because there is no prior planning or itinerary involved. You can just relax and be in no hurry to cover the tourist spots on the list. Kamiya asked Deepika Padukone whether she ever felt lonely in a hotel room. Since she travels often due to her work schedule, she is quite habitual.
She revealed this with a big “NO” and said that she truly loved the quietness that comes with the hotel room. Deepika elaborated that she loves the fact that no doorbells or phones ring when you are in a hotel room. She said, “I like the quiet of a hotel room.” We are pretty sure she is also the kind of person who will do stuff without making any extra noise in her hotel room, as it will dispute the quietness!

Where Did She Stay When She First Moved To Mumbai?
Currently, Deepika lives in an extremely fancy apartment in Prabhadevi, Mumbai. Kamiya asked her where she stayed when she first shifted to Mumbai for work purposes. Deepika Padukone shared that she lived with her aunt for a couple of years in Andheri and then she acquired a rented apartment.
After that, she bought her apartment in Bandra and then she moved to Prabhadevi, where she is currently living with her husband. According to entertainment outlets, she also bought a new apartment right next to Shah Rukh Khan in Bandra West.
