Delhi Is Back With It’s 31st Mango Festival

While summer has taken a toll over our moods, the one thing good about this perilous season is that it coincides with Mango season, and what says mango season better than a Mango Festival featuring over 500 varieties of mangoes. Like every year, the Delhi Mango Festival is back with its 31st edition and all we can do is think about is filling our bags with all the possible types of mangoes!

What Is It?

Delhi Tourism in association with Delhi Government is back with the 31st Mango Festival and we just cannot wait to get our hands on all the mangoliscous awesomeness it has to offer.

Being held at Dilli Haat Janakpuri from 5th July to 7th July, the 31st edition of the Mango Festival promises to be bigger and better. Dedicated to the king of fruits, the festival is going to feature over 500 varieties of mangoes ensuring that you are spoilt for choice.

What’s In It?

Every year farmers from across Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal come to this Mango Festival and display their mangoes. Apart from the fruit itself, you can also fill your bags with mango-based products such as pickles, aam papad, jam, aam panna, aam rass, mango shake, mango ice creams and more.

What’s more? Everyone visiting the Mango Festival will be given a free mango sapling, along with professionals to teach you how to plant it and ripen a mango naturally.

We are sure that the fun won’t just end at this. Last year’s Mango Festival had witnessed some crazy games and challenges to add spice to the occasions. The activities included a Mango Eating Competition where the contestants had to finish 3 Kgs of mangoes within 3 minutes.
