Delhi Metro is one of the most commonly used transport facilities by daily commuters and passengers. Lakhs of people rely on this to reach their destination in the national capital every single day. Metros have made the journey convenient for many people but today was completely the opposite. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) tweeted in the morning at 7:43 AM about the delay in services on the Yellow Line between Kashmere Gate and Central Secretariat. The delay led to a lot of problems for every commuter on this route.

Updates On The Delhi Metro Delay:

The DMRC tweeted about the sudden inconvenience early in the morning. They tweeted about the update and also mentioned that only the Yellow Line went through this delay. The services were as usual on the other lines.

DMRC also informed everyone that commuters travelling between Kashmere Gate and Central Secretariat can travel using the Violet Line.

At around 9:06 AM today, DMRC informed everyone that normal services have resumed.

The services on the Yellow Line of the Delhi metro was shut for almost one and a half hour. This led to huge crowds and chaos inside the metro stations. Thousands of daily commuters and passengers were stranded inside these stations where they had to deal with the humongous rush. The delay happened during basic office timing. More and more people were getting fed up with the metro services. Many even took to social media to vent out their anger and share their bad experiences.

It is never easy when you need to stand for a long time and are stuck in one place. This was the condition of the commuters inside the Delhi metro today. They could not leave the place and get out as everyone had to reach their schools, colleges, offices, and more such places on time.
