The biggest tech gathering in New Delhi, AI Impact Summit 2026, held from February 16 to 20, is coming to a close today. Among the many innovators at the event was Swiggy, which introduced its AI-powered Smart Kiosks at the venue. The company made food ordering quick and hassle-free, creating a smooth, zero-queue experience for attendees throughout the summit.
Swiggy Introduces AI-Powered Smart Kiosks At AI Impact Summit
At the AI Impact Summit 2026, Swiggy rolled out its AI-powered Smart Kiosks. Guests from across the world gathered to explore innovation, and Swiggy made sure their meal breaks felt just as futuristic. Instead of standing in long queues, delegates ordered food directly through the Swiggy app. The kiosks operated inside the foyers of the exhibition halls at Bharat Mandapam. Swiggy set up these dedicated pick-up points to reduce crowding and save time. The menu featured was from some of the popular restaurants.
Knowing how this system works will leave you in surprise. The system used an AI-based logistics engine to accurately predict preparation and delivery times. Best part? Users received real-time notifications when their orders were ready. Once alerted, they simply walked to the designated pick-up points, grabbed their food, and returned to sessions without missing a beat. That’s it!

How Many Orders Did Swiggy Deliver?
More than 100 Swiggy delivery partners managed operations across 8 Smart Kiosks. Working together, they delivered over 2,000 orders all in just two days. The company witnessed the highest demand during lunch hour on day 2, between 1 pm and 2 pm. Beverage trends were clear — Coke was the hero drink, while Veg Snacker topped the food chart.
Large group orders were also on the rise. One attendee placed a single order for 40 burgers on day 2. On the order side, a delegate ordered 16 plates of Veg Fried Rice and 16 plates of Chicken Fried Rice, making it the highest single billing of the event at ₹12,000.
The number of orders shows that Indians’ craving for quick and good food is still on the rise.
