Canada is known for its freezing-cold winter season. We have all seen hundreds of videos online about how extreme the weather in the country can be. So, how does one keep their food warm while they’re travelling or eating outside? Well, we don’t know about them all, but Siddharth Khanna and Srijana Sawhney (@waddupcanada) shared a genius hack by their desi mom to keep parathas warm in freezing Canada winter.
They took to Instagram to share a video where their mom packed paranthas in a thermos! She packed the parathas in aluminum foil and kept them in thermos and since it is insulated, it keeps the food warm! In the video, it also shows that the temperature outside was about minus 14°C.
“Canada ki thand main kaise garma garam khana leke ghooma jaeye,” she can be heard in the background as Siddharth unpacks still hot parathas from the thermos!
