And now, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the last date for the expiry of the Umrah Visa. The visa is granted to the pilgrims who come from outside the kingdom. Dhul Qadah 15 has been announced as the date for the expiry of the Umrah visa for the pilgrims. Yes, in a report by Saudi Gazette, it was revealed that the ministry noted the validity of three months of Umrah visit will be assumed to begin from the date of its issuance. In fact, the report also mentions that the ministry has clarified this in response to several queries made on X.

The Ministry Keeps Posting About Convenient Ways To Reach The Religious Sites

At this point, it’s worth mentioning that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah constantly posts about transport choices and convenience offered to the pilgrims. Yes, keeping true to this, it recently posted about all the hassle-free ways that one can reach the Prophet’s Mosque. It mentioned authorised transportation means, which included the following –

  • The Haramain high-speed train
  • Public transportation buses
  • Licensed taxis
  • Electric transportation apps

Not to mention, people are expected to take prior permission through the app, if they also wish to visit Rawdah Sharifah. As it happens, recently the ministry also urged people to follow visa compliance guidelines for smooth departure. They have been directed to depart before the expiration date of the visa to avoid any complications due to unlawful stay.
