The 3D Pop-Up Store Features Serene & Sustainable Architecture

A unique installation of two circular modules composed of clay, sand, and raw fibres is featured in the store. The stores are enveloped with the house’s characteristic Cannage design, in typical Dior fashion. Inside, Maria Grazia Chiuri’s designs, as well as Dior Maison presents, are on show. The ‘Toile De Jouy’ motif is embroidered on them. White beach chairs and other nude-toned furniture fill the remaining room. Two cylindrical modules make up the Dubai Expo 2020 pop-up store project.

The Crane WASP Exemplifies A Unique Irony Of Creative Collaboration With Dior

The magnificent pop-up shop is shaped like two half-moons joined together. That’s just how it presented itself. Concrete is used in a lot of 3D-printed architecture projects. This has a significant carbon footprint. The goal was to build structures that were both sustainable and luxurious in appearance. The irony is that WASP developed this technology in order to collaborate with the environment. Not only that but even low-cost housing in the poorest parts of the world. WASP has made significant progress in its corporate aim of providing an environmentally sustainable design. Then there’s Dior, which represents the world’s most exquisite luxury.

Natural stones can be turned into a usable building material with the Crane WASP printer. Oh my goodness, that’s fascinating! The printer may even be able to recycle building debris to make new material. In addition, the Crane WASP can blend geo-polymers and clay to make construction material.
