Hatta is all about enriched cultural experiences. And to spread the word more regarding its heritage, Hatta organises an annual festival in December. And the time is here to celebrate Hatta’s Cultural Nights that will run between 21st December 2022 to 1st January 2023. Post the two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the event has come out making the most of everything new.

Hatta Heritage Village, which is tucked away in the Hajjar Mountains, has 16th-century homes composed of mud, wood, stone, and palm fronds.
The festival includes a plethora of exhibits, poetry readings, a shopping market, and food stalls featuring Emirati cuisine. Hatta Cultural Nights will also include performances of folk dances and songs by local and international performers. Children can participate in workshops, face painting, and henna painting, among other things.
The event showcases local accents and the traditions of Hatta’s mountainous region. This multi-cultural event is a component of Dubai Culture’s support for the Dubai Destinations programme.
This event is a perfect blend of heritage with a modern twist. Hence the event witnessed around 1000 and more visitors on the opening day itself. You can visit 7 food stops to pick your favourite item from Emirati cuisine. There are 15 stores to purchase locally produced artisanal goods.
This festival serves as a great opportunity to help local artisans promote their artefacts and more handmade goods.
