Dreams come alive at Disneyland; it’s one magical place that manages to transport you into a parallel universe. And when we speak about Disneyland, one thing that instantly comes to our mind is Paris. Disneyland Paris is a whole new mood for Christmas- however, things are not going to be same this year. Thanks to the covid-19 pandemic, Disneyland Paris will remain shut for the holiday season despite its initial plan to welcome back visitors in time for Christmas celebrations.

The Park Which Was Going To Open For Christmas Will Now Be Shut Till February 2021

The park which reopened in Paris closed again in October with a promise to welcome back visitors on December 9 to January 3, 2021, and then close once again from January 4 to February 12. The park took to Instagram, and share this news,

“While we were hoping to be able to reopen during the Christmas holiday season, the latest government measures announced for France do not allow us to deliver the Disneyland Paris experience and therefore the destination will remain closed until 12 February 2021.”

Disney Will Refund The Difference For The Customers Automatically 

If you have booked the tickets for the park, then you can postpone your visit. And if the new booking time is cheaper than what you had paid for, then Disney will refund the difference. Well, not Disneyland Paris, Disneyland California is also expected to stay closed until the end of the year.

For Europe, France and many other countries are in a second lockdown due to a rise in covid-19 cases. On this, President Emmanuel Macron announced on TV that lockdown restrictions would ease on Saturday, allowing businesses to reopen in time for the holiday shopping season and allowing people to travel up to 20 kilometres for outdoor exercise, The BBC reported.
