Dubai is going to attempt at making a Guinness World Record for ‘the most number of people lighting up LED lights in a relay’ for Diwali.
What Is It?
Residents & tourists in Dubai are invited to make an official attempt at breaking a Guinness World Record on Saturday, 10 November 2018, at the heritage stage of Al Seef Dhow Deck for ‘the most number of people lighting up LED lights in a relay’. Visitors to Al Seef can join families and students from different schools, as well as staff from Dubai Tourism, Dubai Police and the Consulate General of India in making this glorious attempt, which will start at 5 pm. What Else?
This is part of a 10-day-long festive celebration that starts from 1 November till 10 November 2018 which will include live Bollywood and Bhangra performances on stage, a major firework display at the Dubai Creek, as well as a display of Dubai Police supercars, marching bands performance & horse parade by Dubai Police. It will be the first time that the residents of Dubai will witness Diwali being celebrated on such a grand scale, with the participation of officials from different government and corporate bodies.
