If you are one of those people, have you thought of trying some winter sports? No? Then, probably, you are not doing winter the right way. Do not worry; we’ve got your back. In the Scandinavian region, the United Kingdom, and Poland, there is a winter sport where you can race ice yachts or ice boats. You can take part in this sport easily and only at the lake district in Mazury, Poland. After a small training session, you get a chance to sail across the country’s Great Masurian Lakes. One has to be a bit careful as the boats sometimes reach a very high speed that is difficult to control.

2. Skijoring

If you think this sport is similar to skiing, let me assure you that it is not.In this winter sport, you have to put on the necessary winter gear and will be pulled by a motor vehicle, horse, or dog. Generally, 1 to 3 dogs are used. This sport is the best one for you if you have done skiing previously. The initial power is applied by you, while the companion pulling you will help you with the rest. You will find many events in the USA and Europe that host skijoring.

3. Snow Kiting

Have you participated in kite-flying? Well, snow kiting is quite a role reversal sport where a kite will help you go around the snow. In this sport, wind and the kite will pull you across the snow and sometimes even in the air. The kite functions like a sail and looks like a small parachute. If this is your first time trying this sport, you should take a snow kiting class first. The ones who have already experienced it can go for 100 km per hour.

The simple meaning of “fat biking” is biking across the snow. The tyres of these bikes are made with extra traction and are at least 3.8 inches wide. These features help the bike navigate on different levels across the snow without sinking. There are many fat biking events and championships held across the world for you to participate in if you’re interested.
