Dubai is already at the peak of calling itself the World’s most sustainable city. And with the continued efforts of Dubai’s government, the Emirate is trying to be making a massive change. The Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan will soon transform Dubai into a place everybody would want to be. The 2040 Urban Master plan will make it easier to explore the city on foot.

The city is set to have a number of green pathways connecting its residential and commercial districts. Additionally, the new plan will make it easier to move bicycles, pedestrians, and other sustainable modes of transportation across the city.
The grand plan presently calls for creating a 20-minute city. Folks can get where they’re going on foot or by bicycle in 20 minutes or less. In order to provide inhabitants with access to 80% of their daily requirements and destinations within 20 minutes, the concept entails creating end-to-end centres with all the essential services and boosting the inhabitants surrounding mass transit stations.

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, authorised and released the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan. He approved and confirmed the initiative falling in 2nd Phase. The focus of phase 2 will be on developing residential neighbourhoods of the Emirate. The construction will take place in accordance with the integrated street network philosophy, Here the facilities and services are geared toward meeting the needs of the locals. This programme improves well-being, encourages soft mobility, and cuts down on commute time inside Dubai.
