Dubai Bling is a reality show representing all the glamour the city of Dubai holds. While the whole show was pretty eye-catching, the exotic lives of the cast were something we are still not over. One of those special people is Kris Fade, an RJ with his own radio show that was quite popular even before the Netflix series aired. Originally from Australia, he moved to Dubai 16 years ago and calls it home. To let us in on his journey from coming to Dubai to starring in a Netflix show, he joined our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, on this episode of Sunday Brunch in Dubai.

Kris Fade Has A Wax Statue At Madame Tussauds 

How could we not check out his wax statue at Madame Tussauds? After all, he is the first local celebrity in Dubai to have a wax statue there. As soon as we saw it, we were mesmerised. The statue was lifelike, and the details were spectacularly spot on. Referring to the accuracy of his statue, Kris Fade shared that when he showed a picture of it to his mother, even she couldn’t tell that it was a statue and not him. If that is not proof of precision, what is?

While we were talking to him about the decision to be a part of Dubai Bling, he shared that he is always up for trying new things. However, he discussed it with his girlfriend and now wife, Brianna, as well as his kids, before making the decision. After thinking it through, they decided to be a part of the show.

We also asked him about Dubai Bling being scripted. Mentioning that he has been asked this at least a thousand times, he shared that what happens in the show actually happens and it is not scripted at all. He even shared that he was happy when he first saw the episodes because he felt like he was able to depict his true self. Both he and Brianna came out as what they really are: a typical couple who love each other but still bicker sometimes.
