Expo 2020 Dubai is around the corner, and finally, the world will get to witness the marvel of UAE in a few months. And to ensure that all the visitors enjoy the Expo experience hassle-free, the Expo 2020 metro station is set to open next week. Expo 2020 Station Is All Set To Welcome 25 Million Global Visitors At The Expo Site
Expo 2020 Station and Dubai Investment Park Station set on the newly launched Route 2020 of Dubai Metro will be functional from June 1. These new metro stations also act as a countdown to the massive world fair, which is going to be held in the UAE.

Route 2020, which was launched in 2021, operates between Al Rashidiya Station on the Red Line to the Expo site. It stops at Jebel Ali, The Gardens, The Discovery Gardens, and Al Furjan en route. In terms of timings, the first train service for the expo site will commence at 5 AM, and the final service will depart at midnight. For Thursday, the first train will leave the terminals at 5 AM, and the last train will leave at 1.30 am (of the following day). For Friday, the first train will start at 10 AM, and the last one will depart at 1 AM on the following day.
The Service Frequency For These Trains Will Be After Every 2 Minutes And 38 Seconds
Speaking about this line, Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer, Director-General, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority, said:
“The travel time between Al Rashidiya and Expo Stations will be 1 hour and 14 minutes. The service frequency will be 2 minutes and 38 seconds during peak time at a rate of 24 trains per hour per direction, and a capacity of 16,000 riders per hour per direction.”
