The Burj Khalifa was lit with videos of Storm Coaster to celebrate the record-breaking achievement.
Storm coaster initially launched its first flight back on 17 February 2022. Riders on the Storm climb through the tower which measures a 670-metre track with twists. There are three trains on this rollercoaster, and each one can hold twelve people. It transports passengers more than 50 metres up into the building using magnetic motors.
It is possibly the very first ride in history to be built right into a building’s framework. Riders are left in the centre of this gigantic roller coaster and then set out on an incredibly quick two-and-a-half-minute chase. They are encircled by visual effects and real-life films of extreme weather phenomena.

The ride is open on all days of the week. Kids above the height of 1.3 m can enter the ride. If you wish to hop on then you can plan by booking your tickets online or at the counter nearby the ride. The starting price for the ride starts from AED 65.
