Dubai Police is known for offering prompt services to people in need. And this was especially true for people who were recently left stranded in the Hatta’s mountains as they had gone hiking. Yes, in a joint collaboration of the Dubai Police Air Wing and the Hatta Braves Unit, five hikers were successfully rescued from the mountains in Hatta, after they were reported to be unable to descend due to hazardous terrain and elevation. Here’s what happened!

Five Hikers Rescued From Hatta Mountains

Five hikers who were stranded in challenging terrain on Hatta’s mountain were rescued by air through a joint cooperation of the Dubai Police Air Wing and the Hatta Braves Unit. The operation as revealed by His Excellency Mishal Julfar, who is the CEO of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services involved to air ambulance person, two pilots and a navigator. All of these were from the Dubai Police Air Wing and the team used the helicopter, which was equipped with a hoist to lower paramedics to the hiker’s location.

Once their safety was confirmed, they were provided with the necessary support and there was no hospital required. As revered by the Dubai Police, this highlights the success of the mission, and there was seamless teamwork between the authorities to ensure that the hikers were safely rescued.

Alternatively, they can use the SOS feature on the Dubai Police app in critical situations. The rescued hikers were also left feeling immense gratitude for the authorities and their quick action and response.
