Safari parks truly offer children a great opportunity to learn about nature. And when it comes to learning, or even some fun time spent with your family, Dubai Safari Park truly is the name that comes at the top. However, the renowned destination in Dubai has now announced its closure date. Yes, Season 6 is coming to a conclusion this June as it closes for maintenance before reopening for Season 7. Dubai Safari Park recently announced that it will be closing on June 1 for the season. Yes, currently Season 6 is underway, and the park is hosting some special events and interactive experiences before it closes. As revealed in a report by the Gulf News, this park is already home to 3,000 animals! Yes, these are spread across 250 species, and it is expected that the park will open on October 14 for Season 7.

But before it closes, there are many fun events that you need to watch out for. Onyx, which is a much-adored baby rhino, is celebrating its first birthday. This is also one of the biggest highlights of the park! For those who aren’t aware, this is a much-adored baby rhino, which was born the previous year. He won hearts with the public campaign for his naming ceremony. And as the park celebrates Save The Rhino Day on May 1, it’s truly going to be a grand affair.

Several Events Lined Up Before Seasonal Closure

One can also expect safari adventure feeding sessions, junior ranger programme, and of course, animal encounters are amongst a bunch of other fantastic activities for the season. With air-conditioned shuttle train rides spread across six zones, there are also indoor exhibits and air-conditioned safari experiences to ensure visitors can learn about these beautiful animals at their own pace without breaking a sweat under the UAE sun. At this point, it’s worth mentioning that the park has also announced a new initiative in which they will be donating a portion of their admission revenue. Yes, this will be for supporting wildlife rescue, research, and care, thereby cementing their role as a serious player. In global conservation efforts, your visit to the park is certainly going to be a memorable event.

So, with the park offering everything from life presentations to feeding sessions to even delicious food for humans, this venue attracts people for its offbeat offerings.
