What Is Baklava?

Baklava is a famous Turkish delicacy that has won the hearts of sweet soothers around the world. The dish is made of filo pastry, nuts and sweet syrup. The filo pastry is stretched until it becomes thin and transparent. This is then packed with a whole lot of rich fillings including nuts and is finally drizzled off with sugar syrup or honey.

Indulge In A Luxurious Gold Baklava For AED 90

Zou Zou, Dubai’s favourite Turkish restaurant has a special ‘Gold’ Baklava on its menu. The layered dessert is made of filo pastry, which is then filled with chopped nuts and finished with sugar syrup. And, it does not end there. The Baklava is then given a final makeover with a 20 gram-gold-sheet. Now, that’s quite a royal makeover, isn’t it?

The gold baklava is part of the restaurant’s menu and can be ordered at any time. The dessert is priced at AED 90.
