Ladurée Reopens In Marassi Just In Time For Eid With Coffee, Pastries & Coastline Views

There’s something about North Coast mornings that people wait all year for. Slow breakfasts, sea air coming in softly, sunglasses on the table before noon, nowhere important to be. And this summer, those mornings in Marassi are getting a little more Parisian again because Ladurée is officially reopening its boutique there on May 25.

The timing feels intentional too. Eid is around the corner, families are already planning coast getaways, and Marassi is slowly waking up again for another packed summer season.

For many regular North Coast visitors, Ladurée reopening is less about “big news” and more about familiar routines returning.

The Macarons Are Back By The Sea

The Marassi branch will bring back the full Ladurée experience with colourful macarons, pastries, buttery viennoiseries, coffee and signature teas.

The setting probably helps too. A coffee and dessert with the sea right in front of you sounds hard to resist, especially during Eid mornings when everything already feels slower and calmer.

Also, people who spend summers in Sahel tend to get oddly attached to their favourite spots. Once a café disappears, everyone notices. And when it comes back, people act like an old friend returned.

A Paris Brand That Somehow Fits Right Into Sahel

Ladurée first opened in Paris back in 1862, and over the years it became known globally for its macarons and elegant café style.

People walk in wearing linen shirts, beach sandals and oversized hats straight from the marina. Kids ask for desserts before lunch. Families stay for hours talking over coffee.

That mix is probably why the café became part of many people’s summer rituals in the first place.

Eid Holidays Will Likely Bring Big Crowds

Since the reopening lands right before Eid, the branch is expected to get busy almost immediately.

North Coast during holidays is already packed with visitors escaping Cairo heat for a few days near the water. Add a famous café reopening into the mix and things tend to spread quickly online.

But beyond social media, places like this matter because people connect them to memories with family breakfasts, post-beach coffee runs, late-night dessert stops.

And after being away, Ladurée returning to Marassi feels like summer properly starting again.

The Boutique Will Stay Open Through Summer

The café is expected to continue operating throughout the summer season in Marassi.

So whether someone wants a quiet morning coffee or just a box of macarons before visiting friends, the spot is back on the North Coast map again.
