To speed up the passport check process, a new technology called Smart Gates eliminates the need for physical touch. Near the airport’s arrival and departure terminals, the gates are build at Dubai International Airport Terminal 3.

There will be no need for travellers to get a departure stamp on their passports, according to a new biometric identification system implemented by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA)

Drop your baggage off at the “Bag Drop” station after checking in.
Each piece of checked luggage at Abu Dhabi International Airport has a limit of weight of 32 kilograms. Pack your liquids in containers and maintain the capacity of 100 ml for hand luggage.
