Travellers are mandatorily required to own Covid-19 vaccination records and a copy of the UAE visa.
1. Baku, Azerbaijan
Baku’s Old City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has historical beauties in addition to its outrageous modern constructions. At the time of arrival in Azerbaijan, visitors need to obtain a four-month UAE residency visa. Passengers above the age of 18 must have an original Covid-19 vaccination certificate or an official letter confirming Covid-19 recovery. Its hardly a three-hour flight from Dubai. And the tickets will cost you around Dh2,499.
2. Male, Maldive
The gorgeous beach destination, the Maldives has over 100 resorts, sitting on serene islands. Passengers who are fully vaccinated do not require to submit a PCR test before travelling. Non-vaccinated travellers, on the other hand, must produce a 48-hour RT-PCT test. Prior to departure for Maldive, passengers must complete a travel declaration form. Expect the flight’s tickets to start from Dh5,999.
3. Yerevan, Armenia
It is Armenia’s capital and largest city, as well as one of the oldest surviving cities on earth. Yerevan is the country’s administrative, cultural, and industrial hub. All travellers travelling to Armenia must have a negative Covid-19 PCR test result. It has to be of no more than 72 hours before arrival. A Covid-19 immunisation certificate demonstrating that they were completely immunised at least 14 days prior to arrival works otherwise.

4. Tbilisi, Georgia
Georgia’s capital is generally described as charming, with cobblestone lanes, pastel-coloured buildings, and tree-lined streets. Passengers who have recovered from Covid 100 days ago and have a Covid-19 vaccination certificate indicating that they have been completely immunised can skip the form. Travellers who didn’t receive their vaccination should submit a 72-hour test report. The ticket prices are Dhs 2,499.

5. Phuket, Thailand
Thailand has introduced special tourist visas for long-stay tourists travelling to Thailand. Phuket is the island that boasts Thailand’s most popular beaches. For UAE, Indian, and Filipino nationals, the visa on arrival option is valid. Residents must, however, register for a travel pass and pay for an RT-PCR test. Complete the procedure upon arrival at the Bangkok airport on the Thai airport website.
