Airlines are doing everything in their will to make air travel safe again. Right from launching digital boarding pass to providing free covid-19 cover, airlines are doing it all. However, it’s Emirates Airline that has decided to take things to the next level. How do you ask? The airline has introduced a scheme- where Economy passengers can secure an empty row to themselves for a fee. Read on to know more about this offer.

Economy Class Passengers Can Book The Empty Tickets By Paying Anywhere Between AED 200-600

Economy Class passengers can book the empty seats by paying AED 200. However, the seats can’t be booked in advance and will be subject to availability, depending on how busy the flight is. The empty seats will be offered to all the confirmed flyers at the check-in desk, upon arrival, at the airport. Priced at AED 200, the tickets for these empty seats will go up to AED 600.

If you are considering to buy the empty seats, then you must know that one customer is allowed to book up to three seats in a row. So whether you are travelling solo or with friends and fam, you will get enough privacy to relax on the flight.

Emirates Is Offering Additional Discount On Excess Baggage Fees

Emirates has introduced this new seat offering based on the feedback from customers. Several customers have given feedback-seeking extra privacy and space, especially while travelling in the times of the pandemic. Well, if you think this is it, then you must know that the airline has also introduced discounts on its excess baggage fees, to help customers travelling home with extra essentials. The discounts vary between 35 per cent up to 60 per cent off normal rates, depending on the sector. Customers must pre-book and pre-pay the charge up to four hours before their flight.
