After Mumbai and Nagpur, a railway coach restaurant has come up in Bhopal too. This new restaurant on wheels is stationed on Platform number 6 of Bhopal Railway Station and it will operate 24*7. Named ‘Aahar’, the restaurant will offer meals of different states in India. From Misal Pav of Maharashtra and Litti-Chokha of Bihar to Idli-Dosa of South India, one can gorge on a wide variety of Indian dishes here.
The Restaurant Has Come Up On Platform Number 6 Of Bhopal Railway Station
Bhopal Divisional Railway Manager Saurabh Upadhyay inaugurated Aahar in Bhopal Railway Station, Platform Number 6 recently. The restaurant is a pretty railway coach with stunning interiors. It has an outdoor seating arrangement too. Taking to Twitter, the West Central Railway has shared pictures of this new restaurant on wheels. It spreads across an area of 150 square metres.

A Phenomenal Dining Experience For Passengers
Dining inside an Indian railway coach will be an exciting experience that passengers arriving at the Bhopal Railway Station will be looking up to. And it will be a phenomenal experience for international visitors as well. As per reports, Railways aims to make a revenue of nearly ₹59 crores from Aahar. It will remain open all seven days of the week for 24 hours every day.

Other Rail Coach Restaurants In India
In October 2021, Maharashtra’s first rail coach restaurant had come at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus station in Mumbai. Later, another Haldirams on wheels came up at the Nagpur Station. Railways is planning to introduce similar restaurants in other prominent railway stations of the country too. On that note, here’s a glimpse into Mumbai’s restaurant on wheels:
