Ambiance

The ambiance is both modern and traditionally designed. This unique interior reflects the foods being served, and the regions where they come from. The dull romantic lighting, along with Indian art decorating the restaurant instantly transports you to India. The vibrant colors in the eatery represent the regal colors of the Indian flag and work in great contrast to the low lit lighting.

 The Menu

Located in the busy lanes of Bur Dubai, Masala Bazaar is home to a variety of traditional Indian flavors served with a contemporary twist. The restaurant includes spices from all over India. The menu is sectioned into different regions of India- northwest, northeast, southwest and southeast.

Warm up your appetite with a light Tamatar shorba, a North Western delicacy. Move on to mains; where you can binge on authentic Murgh malai kofta- slow cooked chicken dumplings lathered in a buttery sauce or settle for chingri malai curry- a mild coconut curry with tender prawns cooked in mustard sauce.

The menu also boasts other famous regional foods like lemon and coriander kanji, Amti- a south-western type of dal, and Murgh Chettinad- a south-eastern spicy chicken gravy.

End your meal with a selection of desserts from India’s nook and corner. There’s Faloodas, halwa, Kesari Shrikhand, and much more to pick from.

Signature Dishes

One of the signature dishes the restaurant offers is the Teen Mirch murgh originating from the southwest. This spicy tangy dish is similar to the very popular Hyderabad dish mutton chops, which are smoked lamb chops cooked in an onion gravy. Besides, guests can also find a variety of biryanis, kebabs, and chicken drumsticks. Pair your gravies with crusty bread or naan, and you’re sure to come back for more!
