Travel creator Soni Saloni has travelled to 17 countries solo and has travelled extensively across India as well. She often talks about her travel experiences and even shares ideas and itineraries with her followers. Recently, she sat down with her friend Tarana Nirvana and answered some random travel questions. One of the questions asked was – which is the most unsafe place to travel as a woman? They both answered ‘Pondicherry’.

“I went to Pondicherry for New Year’s, expecting a lot of celebrations. There was nothing. It was very low-key party and I found the crowd very creepy. They were trying to almost grope us to a point,” shared Soni Saloni in a video posted on her Instagram.

Tarana also shared her experience and said, “Not even for the day life. People were taking videos of us when we were on the beach. People were trying to take pictures, you know, in selfie mode with us in the background.”
