An unfortunate incident took place on Sunday afternoon in a hotel in Mumbai. A fire broke out at this hotel in Santacruz East named Hotel Galaxy. A civic official shared that 3 people died in the devastating accident and 2 suffered injuries, according to a report by Hindustan Times. They were rushed to a hospital immediately for treatment. This Is What Happened At Mumbai’s Hotel Galaxy
Taking to the social media platform X, EF Nishant Kawadia (@NishantKawadia) shared a video of the terrible incident that took place at Hotel Galaxy in Santacruz East. He added how he saw 3 casualties and 4 injured people getting rescued. All of them were being taken out of the trapped situation through the windows.

It was around 1 PM when the fire break-out accident was reported here at the hotel. A fire brigade official shared that the fire broke out on the third floor of the hotel at 1:10 p.m. The accident left a harsh impact on the air conditioners, furniture, decor, electrical wires, curtains, and power installations in some of the hotel rooms. In fact, the staircase area and lobby faced the aftermath too. All these were simply devastated by the fire that broke out on Sunday afternoon.

The fire brigade official added that the blaze wreaked havoc in all these rooms numbered 103 and 203. Along with all these, the fire also destroyed some blankets and laundry clothes in the lobby and staircase. The wiring in the common duct from the first floor to the third floor also faced damage on Sunday.
It Took About 2 Hours To Extinguish The Fire And Control The Situation

A total of 1 high-pressure first aid line, 3 hose lines, 4 water tankers, 4 fire engines, and more helped to evacuate people and extinguish the fire at the hotel. According to the fire brigade regulations, the fire at the Hotel Galaxy has been categorised as Level I.
The hospital authorities declared 3 people dead; Kishan, Rupal Kanji, and Kantilal Gordhan Vara. The injured people are Alfa Vakhariya and Manjula Vakhariya.
