15 Fantastic Shows For Season 2026-27 Like Swan Lake On Ice, Abracadabra & More, Unveiled By Dubai Opera

Dubai Opera is a landmark theatre in the Downtown area. It is known for showcasing some of the most brilliant spectacles. And as it turns 10, it is marking the milestone with a spectacular season. Yes, it has unveiled the 2026-27 programme, which will be bringing together some of the most amazing spectacles. Whether it’s ballet opera, comedy theatre, classical music, or international concert, the schedule from September through January is packed. Here’s what you can expect from the new season as it opens on September 12th.

Dubai Opera Events For 2026-2027

1. Dubai Opera’s 10th anniversary gala

The season begins with this amazing gala. It brings together opera, Arab classics, orchestral music, and contemporary dance. As such, International soprano Fatma Said will be joining the UAE National Orchestra, Festival Chorus and Maestro Ahmed Farag.

Where: September 12th

2. The Marriage of Figaro Ballet

This is an incredible production which will transform the comic opera into a visually lavish ballet celebrating love. Giving the Ukrainian National Ballet a makeover to Mozart, it also coincides with the 270th birth anniversary.

When: September 17th – 19th

3. God Save the Queen

This is a concert which would be giving a tribute to one of the world’s leading bands, Queens. This is making its Dubai debut after over 1,000 performances around the world. So get ready to rock to songs like Bohemian Rhapsody and We Will Rock You!

When: October 5th

4. Marilyne Naaman

Another concert coming to Dubai, this Lebanese singer and actress will be bringing her blend of Arabic music and contemporary pop to the theatre. She is known for several viral releases across the MENA region.

When: October 6th

5. The Amy Winehouse Band

This musical event brings back Amy Winehouse’s music to the stage. Musicians who actually played alongside her will be performing her iconic hits, led by her musical director and close friend Dale Davis.

When: October 8th

6. Mohandis Al Thouq Al Aam

This is an Arabic comedy, which will follow a couple navigating pregnancy, emotional ups and downs and a series of misunderstandings. All the while dreaming of their unborn child becoming a ‘public taste engineer’. They are bound to tickle your funny bone!

When: October 9th-10th

7. Dubai Comedy Festival

This is a much-awaited event which brings plenty of jokes, witty comebacks and more for the seventh edition. It brings together regional and local comedians for a hilariously good time!

When: October 9th-18th

8. Gipsy Kings Symphonic

This is an evening where Flamenco meets the orchestra, and will be led by André Reyes. For those who don’t know, he is the founder of GIPSY KINGS. Bringing the group’s rumba flamenca to Dubai, this is something you wouldn’t want to miss.

When: October 22nd

9. Titizé – A Venetian Dream

An incredible theatre show, you can expect acrobatics, physical theatre, clowning, and live music. As the theatre brings together 10 performers, the reality and imagination blur here.

When: October 29th-31st

10. Benjamin Clementine

Benjamin Clementine will be bringing his genre-defying music to Dubai Opera. Famous for combining experimental pop, jazz, and contemporary classical music, music lovers will be in for a treat.

Where: November 1st

11. Ministry of Sound Classical

This is a spectacular concert, where iconic dance tracks are reimagined as symphonic performances. To be conducted by David Mahoney, the musical spectacle is going to leave you awestruck.

When: November 7th

12. Trevor Noah

The insanely famous comedian makes a return to Dubai with his storytelling and observational humour. Emmy-winning comedian is known for finding humour in everyday life and politics, relaying funny skits on the stage.

When: November 25th-29th

13. Hiba Tawaji & Ibrahim Maalouf

For this concert, Hiba Tawaji and trumpet virtuoso Ibrahim Maalouf will be teaming up. It’s a one-night collaboration, where you can expect a mix of jazz, classical influences, chanson, and contemporary sounds.

When: November 27th

14. The Bolshoi Theatre arrives in the UAE

It’s one of the biggest highlights of the season! The programme over the course of five days will include Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride, a Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra symphonic concert, and Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker.

15. Guy Manoukian

The well-acclaimed Lebanese-Armenian pianist and composer is making a comeback for another power-packed performance. His previous nine shows have been completely sold out. So, make sure to expect a signature fusion of melodies!

When: December 11th
