Why Delhi Police Denied Permission For Diljit Dosanjh’s Concert?
Diljit Dosanjh was all set to perform in Delhi at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 30, 2026. But the concert is now facing challenges. The Delhi Police has denied permission due to security concerns. This decision came just a few days after the concert was rescheduled from November 1 to October 30.
According to Mint, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Delhi, reportedly sent a letter to BookMyShow stating that permission for the concert could not be granted. The decision was influenced by several factors, including security threats, festive-season security arrangements and other law and order concerns. However, it is still unclear whether the organisers will reapply for permission or cancel the concert.
