Fog Alert in UAE! Red & Yellow Alerts Issued Across Country

The National Centre of Meteorology has announced a Fog alert in UAE. The blanket of fog is set to cover the region and travelling outside without caution can be hazardous. The ability to see horizontally may be impaired. The weather bureau says that the temperature could drop even lower.

NCM Generates Red & Yellow Alerts

This dusty and hazy weather was cruel to many cities. Al Samha, Razeen, Sweihan, Ghiyathi, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, Al Maktoum International Airport, Sharjah, and Umm Al Quwain are some of the names mentioned this morning. Razeen is in Abu Dhabi. Al Samha is in Al Ain.

Activity in the UAE may shift according to temperature changes. Therefore, NCM has urged drivers to drive carefully in these weather conditions. It is imperative that drivers maintain vehicle stability when navigating hazy terrain. The agency has issued a red and yellow fog advisory for the area due to the high levels.

Weather Check

According to NCM, the weather may completely change during the following three days. In the UAE, it can become sunny and humid. There may be intermittent cloudiness throughout.

The country’s interior is forecast to experience high temperatures between 37 and 42 C. Highs will be between 25 and 31 degrees Celsius over the highlands and between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius on the coast and on the islands.

There will be light to moderate winds that occasionally become fresher and blow dust during the day. The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will have light maritime conditions.

So if you are travelling in UAE then make sure you are aware of the climatic conditions.
