Many researchers at Independent Cottages, a holiday-home site, did a study and gave us the top 5 most underrated destinations in the United Kingdom.

These Are The Top 5 Underrated Destinations In United Kingdom

Independent Cottages researchers have determined that the number of guidebooks produced about a location can be used to gauge how underrated it is. According to the survey, three million guidebooks were examined in total. The results were then compared to the number of attractions in unexplored destinations.

The names of the top 5 most underrated destinations in the United Kingdom are:

  • Milton Keynes
  • Southend-on-Sea
  • Sunderland
  • Swansea
  • Wolverhampton

According to the study, the most underrated destination is Milton Keynes. Milton Keynes has no guidebooks written on it. This is a little harsh fact to know as the place houses attractions like stately country pile Woburn Abbey and legendary codebreaking spot Bletchley House. The place should be visited for its widely accessible public art.
